Medicare requires revalidation every 5 years. If you miss your deadline, your PTAN will be deactivated and will result in a billing gap. All claims during this billing gap will NOT be paid. No exceptions.
You may not have received the “yellow Envelope” with the Medicare Revalidation. Please find your NPI on the CMS-Revalidation website and confirm your Revalidation due date.
